Philly TAP in Action

Since 2007, thirteen charter schools from the School District of Philadelphia have implemented Philly TAP in a dedicated effort to help teachers and students excel in the classroom.  From classroom teachers to mentors and principals, each school's entire education team participates in the TAP system.

It's a collaborative effort where teachers receive coaching and professional development opportunities to hone their skills and meet their students' needs. It's hard work, but the payoff in students' academic growth is well worth it. And the performance awards are a nice bonus.
